Female voices marginalised in media coverage of science in Uganda, both as authors and sources

Studies on women's marginalisation as authors and sources of science stories in the media developing countries are few, fewer context genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Using feminist theory, this study surmises that women accordingly underrepresented GMO stories. Based a content analysis 317 published two Ugandan newspapers, findings indicate chances females being increase if they collaborate with male. There is need for female scientists to male counterparts journalists their visibility an agricultural sector where great contributors labourforce.
